The STEVE HARRIS JAZZ COLLECTIVE is a group of top shelf southland jazz musicians who come together to bring jazz to the people. The collective can either expand or shrink to suit your musical needs. A quiet little supper club - Steve will bring a trio to provide the jazz. A large scale party - Steve can expand the collective to include saxophone and keyboards if needed. The STEVE HARRIS JAZZ COLLECTIVE is just what you need to cover all your musical bases.

Steve Harris started playing bass in 7th grade. He spent his formative years on the road with various touring groups. Steve lives in the alamitos beach section of long beach. He shares his space with 2 cats, 5 electric basses, 2 acoustic basses, a cello, an upright bass, and a collection of over 3000 LPs (yes, vinyl) and CDs.
